     Smt. K.V.N.V.. Bharathi Devi, Chairperson St. Mary's Group of Institutions always believes in..

     In tune with the above words, she took it upon herself to discharge certain student centric issues for the economical backward sections with respect to purchase of text books, bus fare, hostel fee, and tuition fee. It is for this reason the Joseph Sriharsha & Mary Indraja educational society constituted the 'Bharathi Devi Charitable Trust'.

     Every year the trust provides scholarship, fee concession, bus fee & hostel fee exemptions, textbooks, uniforms, clothes etc. to the needy students based on the Trust's rules and regulations.

For the year 2011-12, the trust has provided:

  •    60 students with scholarship
  •    10 students with fee concession
  •    15 students were given books for the entire semester
  •    10 students were given uniforms & clothes

For the year 2012-13, the trust has provided:

  •    75 students with scholarship
  •    15 students with fee concession
  •    22 students were given books for the entire semester
  •    14 students were given uniforms & clothes

     1000 Widows / Orphans were given Clothes, Blankets, Dresses worth about 10 Lakhs on the occasion of the Christmas Celebrations held on 14th, 16th & 19th Dec, 2012 by The Chairman & Chairperson.

     Also, the trust plays an active role in providing both financial & non-financial aid to the school functioning in Deshmukhi village where the college exists, many NGOs / orphanage in the city, under the corporate social responsibility program.
